O'Bombay reimagines its dining experience through a moody and theatrical atmosphere. You will be transported back to Mumbai’s previous life as Bombay.
O’Bombay welcomes all patrons with a red carpeted entrance leading them into an experience of a vibrant Bollywood theatre setting alongside the restaurant’s Bombay street-styled menu.
Our client was looking for a design that can create a contemporary aesthetic of the Old Bombay.
A darker colour palette runs throughout the restaurant to create a moody environment which brings intimacy for diners whilst emphasizing the featured lit walls and graphics.
The lighting scheme highlights the liveliness of Bombay at a retrospective level with the use of backlighting and neon signage. It provides character through each space of the restaurant giving diners a chance to appreciate O'Bombay's story.
